HELPFUL TIPS
If gas bottle restraints are needed for tall cylinders, that is more than 1 metre high, then the following has to be considered:
- If the restraint is for a gas cylinder in a warehouse/storage wall, and is stationery, then 1 set of restraint will suffice.
- If the restraint is used for gas cylinders to be fixed to the back of a moving vehicle, then for safety purpose, 2 sets are needed.
- One set about 1/3 way off the ground and another one 2/3 from the top. This is to ensure maximum security due the weight of the cylinders on a moving vehicle.
